  I am an undergrad student at York University. I am planning and hoping to go to grad school and I do a lot of research on application processes, selection criterias etc. I was just curious, when we talk about "publications" at the undergrad level, what does that entail? Do they mean publication everywhere, including some online work contributions or just the scientific research journals that one might have had the opportunity to publish in? From what I have learnt so far, it seems that at the undergrad level publishing opportunities are not easy to come by. But I really just wanna know what the whole idea is about? Any answers? thanks all!!

  I am an undergrad Psych student at York U. I have read your responses elsewhere on the website. Very rich with the right kind of information. I have read  lot on your website as well and I sure will get your book.. had already made up my mind about that.

  I want to be a practicing clinical psychologist in Chicago, but I can't decide whether I want to get an MSW or a PsyD (I'd rather not get a PhD). What are the benefits of one over the other? What kind of job prospects are out there in Chicago for those two degrees?

  My god I am a new member and answering this question too late!! Have you decided your path yet? what did you choose?

  And if you are still undecided, here is a lot of material on the web out there that talks bout the benefits of one kind of degree over the other. One forum that has a rich content discussion ( in my opinion ) on the subject is the studentdoctor forum. Just do a google search and you should find that website. 

  I personally, would be more interested in a PsyD as well to be honest with you but in Canada and not many schools offer it here so I am kinda struggling with decisions bout wanting to do grad level research or not.
